Driving Directions to UConn, Storrs Campus

School of Engineering Fall Career Fair, October 1, 2009

From the West (heading through or from Hartford): Take Interstate 84 East to Exit 68. From exit, take a right onto Route 195, 7 miles to UConn.

From the East (heading from Boston toward Hartford): Take Interstate 84 West to Exit 68. From exit, take a left onto Route 195, and follow directions above.

From the Southeast Interstate 95 to 395 North. Take Exit 81 West to Route 32 North. Follow Route 32 North to Willimantic. In town, turn right and go over bridge. Continue straight through the light and follow 195 North for 8 miles to campus.

Turn onto North Eagleville Road at the intersection of 195 and North Eagleville Road, there will be a large white church at the corner. Continue onto North Eagleville for about 500 feet and take a left onto Gilbert Road (the pond should be on your right once you turn onto Gilbert Road). At the end of Gilbert Road take a left, this is Hillside Road. Continue on Hillside road for approx. .2 miles. At the second stop sign take a right onto Stadium Road. The entrance to the South Parking Garage is on your left hand side.

Walking from the South Garage to Rome Commons Ballroom

From South Parking Garage to South Campus Complex: Exit the South Parking Garage onto Stadium Road. (Gampel Pavilion will be across the street.) Turn right, walk down Stadium Road, and proceed to the first stop sign at the intersection of Stadium and Hillside Roads. (The new UConn Co-op will be on your immediate right.) At the stop sign, turn right onto Hillside Road and walk to the next stop sign. Turn left onto Gilbert Road and take your first right onto Gilbert Road Extension. The South Campus Complex will be the second building on your right. The Rome Commons Ballroom is located on the second floor of the building known as Rome Hall (above the Dining Hall).

If you have a lot of materials, please feel free to drive your car up to the building, unload and then park.
